Our Gardens

Simple Livin’ Farm is a small family-run CSA (community shared agriculture) providing organic vegetables, herbs and flowers to local families, schools and businesses.  Having extensive beautiful, abundant gardens on-site enables children to be a part of preparing and planting in the spring and harvesting and cooking throughout summer and fall.  Throughout the summer, campers work with mentors and counselors on stewardship activities including planting, trellising, picking off harmful insects (“Bug Off” is a favorite activity) and harvesting.  We also prepare food and herbal teas, go on treasure hunts, paint, play games, create and much more in the gardens.

“We all have a part to play in making our home place become an area in which we strive to create whole communities in which both Earth and humans survive and thrive into the far future.”  — Marion Leonard
